Zephyr

Our number one choice is Zephyr which is made by a local company called Coffeebar. When first experimenting with our espresso maker this was highly recommended by our friends who live in Reno. The high recommendation did not do this blend justice. This mild blend was very smooth tasting and did not have a bitter aftertaste like some espresso can have. It tasted delicious on its own or a splash of hazelnut creamer really brought out the cherry, milk chocolate, and vanilla notes.  

Coming in second is the Lavazza Cafe Espresso for those that are not local and still want creamy, delicious espresso at home. Lavazza was founded in Italy in 1985 and has allowed us to taste the exceptional Italian espresso right in our own homes. This mild blend is very versatile allowing customers to enjoy in a shot or multiple milk drinks. The bitterness flavor is replaced with notes of chocolate, hazelnut, and brown sugar leaving us wanting more! Surprise bonus for those Amazon Prime members. Prime shipping! 

 Caffeine addicts this one’s for you! This darker roast has notes of chocolate and cherry that shine through when sipping. Death Wish Coffee is not only strong in flavor but it is the strongest coffee in the world having double the caffeine than most brews. This would be a great one for the night shifters out there who need that extra jolt! In addition Death Wish Coffee is organic and fair trade.  

Another Italian company makes our list. They are the experts at espresso of course! This is a gourmet blend for those wanting to not only get delicious espresso but also support a 100% female management team! Yeah ladies!!! This slow roast allows notes of sweet honey and caramel to pull through every sip.
