FOUR PLACES YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS ON THE WESTERN SIDE OF USA
We will admit how hard this list was to compile. Living on the west side of the USA we are in close proximity to SO many unique and beautiful places it was so hard to choose. Some of them we still have not been to because there truly is SO much to explore. I wouldn't even say these are our top four because again it is so hard to choose being that each one offers something different. This is just a list of some places you definitely will not want to miss if you have the opportunity to explore!
Zion National Park

Nestled in Utah's south west corner is Zion National Park. It is home to the bright colored canyons accompanied by breathtaking views, and multiple opportunities for hikes of all skill levels. One of the most popular hikes located in the park is called The Narrows. Why is it called The Narrows? Well it is actually the slimmest part of the park! Don't feel like hiking or have time but still want to experience the views? Try the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. This drive is 57 miles and will have you amazed as you pass by famous landmarks.
Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Looking for the PERFECT place for your next vacation? Jackson Hole is THE destination for our nature loving/outdoor enthusiasts. This town has an airport which makes is so convenient for travel/car rental. Located 21 miles away from Grand Teton National Park, and 65 miles to Yellowstone National Park. Not only is it surrounded by popular national parks it is home to many wildlife, ski opportunities at Jackson Hole Mountain, and relaxation in the Granite Hot Springs. This is literally the perfect destination for anyone as it has a little bit of everything.
Big Sur, California

90 miles of Pacific coast line on one side, beautiful mountains on the other. This is one of our favorite places and has us going back year after year. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is a favorite among everyone. 7 marked trails are located throughout the park featuring waterfalls, redwood forests, and mile long creeks. This park is also the one of the very few areas scuba diving is allowed. One of our favorite cities in the entire world Carmel is located only 40 miles away and has much to offer. This storybook felt town features delicious restaurants, unique shops, and secrete alleyways. Monterey is another town not to far and is the perfect tourist town for kiddos to explore. Offering seafood restaurants galore and the famous aquarium.
Sedona, Arizona

Sedona is often described as one of the most beautiful places people have been. The bright rock formations with the almost guaranteed sunny day how could we deny it? With over a 100 different hiking trails you are sure to find one at your skill level. This place offers things to do you probably didn't quite expect from the location. These activities include wine tasting on the Verde Valley Wine Trail, spas, wildlife sighting, art galleries, shopping..you name it Sedona probably has it!
